Nel 1980 è nata BIKERS NEWS, la rivista tedesca dedicata a biker e rocker per eccellenza. All'epoca, nessuno avrebbe potuto immaginare lo straordinario successo che avrebbe avuto. Sulla copertina del primo numero di 12 pagine compariva un annoiato Udo Lindenberg. Dopo una breve introduzione, c'erano il calendario dei rally, due pagine di nostalgici annunci di moto, un articolo sulle ultime notizie dei club e sette annunci brevi. Cosi' è iniziata l'ascesa di questa rivista. Ed è stata praticamente inarrestabile.
Le otto riviste della casa editrice Huber sono completamente autoprodotte. Della produzione e della vendita di libri e riviste si occupano circa 75 collaboratori fissi tra redazione, grafica e gestione degli abbonamenti, a cui si aggiungono oltre 150 reporter freelance.
